What happens if a threat is detected?

How AstraLink Connect responds when it detects a security threat on your network.

When AstraLink Connect detects a threat, the Sentry appliance blocks or contains it automatically and logs the event.

What you see

  • A plain-language alert in your dashboard.
  • An email or SMS notification if you have notifications enabled.
  • A timeline of what happened, which device was involved, and what action was taken.

What we do

Our monitoring systems review alerts around the clock. For events that look serious, we escalate to you with guidance on next steps. We do not flood you with raw logs — we tell you what happened and what it means.

If a device is compromised

If a specific device is involved, we may recommend isolating it from the network, resetting passwords, or running a malware scan. In severe cases, we can help you quarantine the device remotely through the dashboard.
