For shops, restaurants, hotels & motels

Your Card Reader and Your Guest Wi-Fi Should Not Be Roommates.

In most small shops, hotels, and restaurants, the payment terminal, the office computer, the cameras, and the Wi-Fi your customers use all run on one flat network. Anything that gets onto one can reach the others.

One Sentry per location. Guided setup in under an hour. No IT hire required.

Storefront Network Check

What we typically find

  • A payment terminal on the same network as the guest Wi-Fi
  • Cameras running firmware nobody has updated since install
  • Devices connected that no current employee recognizes
The real risk

One flat network, and the till is on it.

Guest Wi-Fi is a service you provide and a risk you inherit. So is every camera, every smart thermostat, and every tablet a vendor left behind. On a flat network they are all the same distance from your payment environment, which is to say no distance at all.

The payment terminal, the office computer, the cameras, and the guest Wi-Fi all on one flat network

Smart devices nobody remembers installing, still connected and never updated

What Connect does about it

Walls between the till and everything else

Puts the payment terminal on its own island.

Separated from guest traffic, staff phones, and the back office. This is the control PCI guidance is asking about when it asks about segmentation.

Keeps guest Wi-Fi genuinely separate.

So a guest's infected laptop cannot see your systems, your terminal, or each other.

Isolates cameras and smart devices.

The most commonly overlooked way in, and the one nobody is patching. They get their own zone and stay there.

On watch, day and night

What we watch for in a storefront

Card reader isolation.

Your point of sale talks to what it needs to and nothing else on the network.

Guest traffic, walled off.

Guests get internet. They do not get a route to your business systems.

Cameras and IoT.

Kept in their own zone, so an unpatched camera is not a door into the back office.

Around the clock.

You find out from us rather than from your payment processor.

For small hotels and motels

Guest Wi-Fi is a service you provide and a risk you inherit.

One Sentry per property separates what guests touch from what runs the front desk, and every property shows up on one dashboard. Add a property, add a Sentry, and nothing else about how you manage it changes.

No device limits on any plan, which matters when you have thirty cameras, four terminals, and a lock on every door.

Simple setup

Separated before your next shift

No new point of sale, no rewiring, and no closing early. One cable is your part.

01

We ship it configured.

Your Sentry arrives set up for your shop, restaurant, or property.

02

You plug in one cable.

Between your modem and the router you already have. Most offices are done in under an hour, and we stay on the phone with you for all of it.

03

We watch it from Houston.

Monitoring, threat updates, firmware, and alerts in plain language. You go back to serving customers.

Cost

A monthly plan per Sentry, one per location, with no limit on devices and no annual contract. We will give you the figure on the call. No limit on devices, which matters when you have thirty cameras and four terminals.

FAQ

Questions owners ask us

Does this make us PCI compliant?

No single product makes anyone PCI compliant, and be careful of one that says it does. Segmentation between your payment environment and everything else is one of the controls the guidance asks about, and Connect delivers that part and documents it. The rest is policy, your processor, and how the shop actually operates.

Will it slow down our checkout?

No. It adds no noticeable latency, and the payment path is the one we tune first. Card present transactions are not going to feel different.

We have thirty cameras. Does that cost more?

No. No device limits on any plan. One Sentry covers one location and everything plugged into it, which is exactly the case where per-device pricing punishes you.

We run several properties. How does that work?

One Sentry per property, and every property shows up on one dashboard. Guest Wi-Fi is separated from the front desk at each one.

Can guests still get on the Wi-Fi easily?

Yes. Nothing changes for them. Same network name, same password, same experience. What changes is what their device can reach once it is on.

What does it cost?

A monthly plan per Sentry, one per location, with no limit on devices and no annual contract. We will give you the figure on the call.

Find out what your guests can reach

Book twenty minutes. We will look at your setup, tell you plainly what is exposed, and show you what closing it would cost. If we are not the right fit, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
