What is the Sentry appliance?
It is the box that runs Connect at your location. Firewall, intrusion detection sensor, and secure remote-access endpoint in one unit that we configure for your network before it ships.
Do I have to replace my router?
No. The Sentry sits between your modem and the router you already have. You keep your internet provider, you keep your router, and you keep your Wi-Fi network name and password. Nothing gets replaced and nothing gets rewired.
Can I manage multiple locations?
Yes. Every Sentry appliance appears in the same dashboard, so you can check on one site or all of them from one login.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Local traffic keeps moving. Security policies are enforced on the appliance itself, so protection does not depend on a constant cloud connection.
